Our group is funded through the Emmy Noether Programme of the German Research Foundation (DFG) and works on statistical methods for high-dimensional and complex, in particular longitudinal, functional data.

November 2011 Paper accepted by the Electronic Journal of Statistics: Restricted Likelihood Ratio Testing in Linear Mixed Models with General Error Covariance Structure.
July 2011 Jan Gertheiss is awarded a research prize by the Münchener Universitätsgesellschaft.
June 2011 Jan Gertheiss selected as a recipient of this year's Chikio Hayashi Award of the International Federation of Classification Societies (IFCS).
April 2011 Sonja Greven selected as the recipient of this year's first Gustav-Adolf-Lienert-Award of the German Section of the International Biometric Society.
